Characters and player data
Why some things belong to the character you're playing and others belong to you, and what happens when you switch characters.
Most Tibia players have more than one character. JososLab keeps them apart where it matters (your hunts, your builds) and keeps them together where that makes more sense (the people you hunt with and the money they owe you).
The active character
The character at the top of the rail is your active character: the one you're playing right now. It works as the context of the whole Dashboard. Change it and the Home page, HuntLab and your build switch to that character.
The switcher sits apart from the sections on purpose. A character isn't a page you visit, it's who you are while you use the app.
What belongs to each character
| Data | Why it's per character |
|---|---|
| Hunts and history | A hunt is always played by one character. |
| HuntLab profile | Level, skill and loyalty are different on every character. |
| Build: wheel, proficiency, equipment | Every vocation and level has its own setup. |
| Oracle profile | Oracle adapts its answers to the vocation, level and gear of the active character. |
What belongs to you, the player
| Data | Why it's shared |
|---|---|
| Parties & Teams | You hunt with the same people, whatever character you bring. |
| Debts | Money is owed between characters, and you want to see all of it in one place. |
| Settings | Theme and preferences are yours, not a character's. |
How debts work across characters
A debt is always between two character names: for example, Efra owes Josos 1.63kk. It comes from a party you locked and calculated, and it stays open until someone marks it as paid.
Debts never disappear when you switch characters. What changes is the point of view:
- The Debts page (Party → Debts) shows every open debt from all your parties.
- The Pending card on the Home page shows only the debts of your active character, in first person: Efra owes you 1.63kk or You owe Leathia 333k.
If your active character has nothing pending but another of your characters does, the Pending card tells you so.
Builds are copied into every hunt
Your build is also saved inside each hunt. If you change your wheel next week, last week's hunts still show the wheel you actually used. That's what makes comparing hunts fair: you compare setups, not just numbers.
Note: Proficiency builds are also remembered per weapon and per character, so you don't have to set them up again every hunt.
